🚽🚽“Clean Comedy”🚽🚽

Juuuuuuust so we’re clear:

Juuuuuuust because a comic (or actor or whomever) “doesn’t curse” in their comedy act, does not mean the comedy act is “clean”.

One can say or depict perfectly cruel, disgusting, and/or discriminating things without using profanity or slurs or slang (not that slang or vernacular language is bad, that’s not what I’m saying.) Sex can be talked and joked about without saying “fucking” or “dick”, etc. Conflicts can be talked and joked about without saying “ass hole” or “dick”. Doesn’t make life any less messy or complicated.

Personally…spare me the faux sanctimony, and no one except MEEEEE is the arbiter of good taste 👅
