Baseball and Fools

Happy first day of baseball, you fools! Happy Birthday to all the Fools out there aka it’s April Fool’s Day and I hate pranks b/c it’s ultimately lying.

I’ve been chugging along over here, saying my prayers over the jurors in the shit head Derek Chauvin’s trial, not to mention the witnesses who have testified these last few days. Bravery all around and actually Fuck Derek Chauvin.

Baseball movie rec.! Aside from quoting A League of Their Own daily, and wondering if Dottie dropped the ball or Kit knocked it out of her hand fair and square, but especially on the opening day of MLB, I came across this gem of a documentary: Battered Bastards of Baseball. I had no idea Kurt Russell’s dad was also an actor, I had not idea this entire story existed and I am better for it. Give it a watch! And I NEED a Maverick’s shirt!
