ARETHA

Of course I always knew about Aretha Louise Franklin and her music. It wasn’t until, say, 2013/2014 I truly studied her, took the time to listen to her early work (1970s Aretha is my fave), and read about her life.

Although she’s gone from Earth, we have her catalog and her legend. Her musical prodigy. My Lord in Heaven, that voice. That VOICE!

I’m watching Amazing Grace right now and alert have chills in my body and tears in my eyes.
