LOVED THIS BOOK of short stories!

Moniz tells super compelling and succinct stories. I felt like I was in the scene in every single story.

I’m on my short story bullshit these days - what’s more pretentious than “I’m reading a book of short stories.”?!

As I pursue my own writing, whatever that is, this book (and quote, above) showed me 1) Moniz is an incredible story teller and 2) writing doesn’t have to be 100s of pages!!!

I lovedddd this book. “The Hearts of Our Enemies” was my favorite story in the book - very Edgar Allen Poe muuuhahahahahaha.

On to the next!
