Cheers to Six Years for my spouse and I!

I love being married, especially because I wasn’t sure if I’d ever get married. I never considered myself romantically desirable (F’d up, I know….moreover, untrue!) and never really seriously dated, either.

See, I have this awful habit of falling in love right away?!??!?! Quite inconvenient. Plus, I was usually trying to be the cool girl with the wit and the jokes. Which is fine. But. I *also* want to get laid. Yay.

I’m so grateful to have a great partner for me. It’ll be 10 years together come this June - huge milestone it its own right!

We laugh A LOT in this house and that’s b/c I’m the funny one. The other day, knowing I would get a rise out of him, I told my spouse that if he doesn’t hang this one clock and this one mirror I’ve wanted to be hung for LITERALLY TWO YEARS, I explained that I would be hanging those items. He was all, “Girl, you are NOT putting holes in these walls!!!!!!! I’m the only one who is doing that!!!!” and I said, “Well you better get on it, b/c I’m not waitin’ for your ass AN-Y-MORE!” and we were crackingggggg up in this conversation (I’m cracking up now just typing this).

It’s a marvelous feeling to be loved this way, to have security this way, and I love my spouse very very much and love the life we are making together.

MARRIAGE - 10/10, DO IT! :)
